Play Therapy

For children, play is more than fun—it’s how they learn, express themselves, and make sense of the world. When kids face big feelings, stress, or challenges, they may not always have the words to explain what’s going on inside. Play Therapy gives them a safe space to do this through play.

In Play Therapy, toys, art, games, and creative activities become tools for children to share their thoughts and feelings. With the guidance of a trained play therapist, children can work through worries, process difficult experiences, and build new skills for coping and connection.

Play Therapy can help with anxiety, behavior challenges, grief, trauma, social struggles, and more. It supports children in expressing themselves, developing healthier relationships, and gaining confidence—all while doing the thing they do best: play.

At Hopeful Waters Wellness, Play Therapy is offered in a supportive environment where healing and growth can unfold naturally.
